SSAU has become a venue for a large—scale educational initiative of the Movement of the First, the University Shifts project.

This year, more than 100 students from 25 regions of the country are studying at the university as part of the project. Participants immerse themselves in student life, get acquainted with agricultural specialties and take important steps towards choosing a future profession.

The organizers of the program are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Public and State Movement of Children and Youth «Movement of the First» with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

— I am convinced that it is necessary to start working with future specialists from school, when professional interests are formed, personal motivation develops and the foundations of future professional choice are laid, — said Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU.
