Stavropol State Agrarian University has launched a professional development program for teachers of the Agroclasses project in cooperation with the Russian State Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev. The training takes place throughout the country on the initiative of the Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut.

This fall, 236 teachers from schools in rural municipalities of the Stavropol Territory and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic will take the course. Special attention is paid to practical cases, an interdisciplinary approach and the formation of students' research thinking. The program will end in November with final certification.

— The program is designed in such a way that teachers not only update their knowledge, but also «equip themselves» with modern methodological tools for the qualitative integration of agro–industrial disciplines into the educational process, — said Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU.
