The annual scientific and practical conference «Innovative aspects of service and Tourism development» for scientists, practitioners, postgraduates, undergraduates, students was held at the Stavropol State University at the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism. 

103 representatives from 13 universities and educational organizations from Russia, China, Hungary, and Serbia took part in the conference. 14 students spoke from the co-organizers of the conference, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality of the School of Economics and Management of the Far Eastern Federal University. At the plenary session, 6 reports of foreign participants and 5 Russian scientists were heard. The moderator was the Dean of the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Services and Tourism, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Anna Ivolga.

The conference participants discussed the world and domestic experience in the development of service and hospitality, innovative components of the national and regional tourism product, regional features of the development of service and tourism.

According to the results of the student reports competition, the experts distributed the prizes:

1st place — Artur Druzhenya, Assistant at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality of the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok. A report on the topic: «The development of glamping in Primorsky Krai as a tool to promote the tourism potential of the region.» The scientific supervisor is Natalia Ovcharenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the School of Economics and Management of the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok.

2nd place — Andrey Kotlyar, a student of the Service training course at Stavropol State Agrarian University. A report on the topic: «Prospects for the use of unmanned electric transport in cargo transportation». The scientific supervisor is Irina Pavlenko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism and Service of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Diana Ermolova, student of the Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship (branch) Don State Technical University of Shakhty, Rostov region. A report on the topic: «Stress as a factor in the occurrence of emotional burnout in the tourism sector.» Scientific supervisor — Zhanna Gornostaeva, PhD in Economics, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Service and Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship (branch) of DSTU in Shakhty.

3rd place — Yuri Tsoi, student of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality of the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok. A report on the topic: «The impact of geo-advertising services on business promotion.» The scientific supervisor is Elena Shumakova, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Lecturer at the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the School of Economics and Management of the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok.

Anastasia Karaseva, student of the Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship (branch) Don State Technical University of Shakhty, Rostov region. Report on the topic: «The art of travel: how storytelling makes a trip unforgettable.» Scientific supervisor — Zhanna Gornostaeva, PhD in Economics, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Service and Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship (branch) of DSTU in Shakhty.

The materials of the students and the teaching staff have been compiled into separate collections, some articles are recommended for publication in the journal of the SSAU «Research of Problems of Economics and Finance».
