Representatives of secondary specialized educational institutions of Stavropol gathered in Stavropol State University at the contest «Pedagogical talents of Stavropol — 2024».

The competition has been held at the SSAU since 2021 on the initiative of the director of the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Ryakhovskaya. Its purpose is to support the motivation of employees in the effective construction and development of their professional careers, to increase the social status of young teachers and the prestige of their profession, to support pedagogical innovations, creativity, and initiative.

Last year, by the decision of the rector of the university, Vladimir Sitnikov, the event went beyond the university and became a regional competition for teachers of secondary vocational education «Pedagogical talents of Stavropol-2023» within the framework of the federal project «Professionalism».

The participants passed two stages of the competition: a business card assignment «Me and my vocation» and a «Video tutorial», which each teacher recorded at his workplace with students, using the author's pedagogical approach. According to the results of the tests, the teachers of the Institute of Vocational Education of Stavropol State University showed a high level of professional skill: Dmitry Chernov won the nomination «Pedagogical mentor», and Aza Dolakova became the best in the nomination «Pedagogical Debut».
