One of the most joyful events at the Stavropol State Agrarian University for the hearts of many veterans is the traditionally held «Blue Light.» On the eve of the New Year, the university's veterans gathered to wish each other a happy 2026, a new chapter in their lives. The event was organized by Nikolai Guzynin, Chairman of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Veterans Council.

The Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans, the Chairman of the Council of Elders under the Chairman of the Stavropol Territory Duma, Alexey Karabut, the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans, Igor Gritsenko, and the Assistant of the Deputy of the Stavropol Territory Duma, Vera Lukyanova, came to visit the university's veterans. 

On behalf of the Rector of StGAU, Vladimir Sitnikov, the first vice-rector, Ivan Atanov, congratulated the veterans and those present at the event on the upcoming New Year of 2026. In his speech, he highlighted the main achievements of the university in 2025, emphasizing the main festive events of the university's 95th anniversary, and discussed important development prospects. Alexey Karabut, Igor Gritsenko, Vera Lukyanova, and university professors Vladimir Kurchev, Nikolai Zlydnev, Nina Chukhlebova, and Olga Sycheva also congratulated the participants of the «Blue Fire.» A festive program was prepared for the guests of the event, with the participation of veterans and creative groups of the university. 

 In his final speech, Nikolai Guzynin expressed confidence in the imminent victory of the soldiers defending the Fatherland in the course of the special military operation.
