Schoolchildren of the Stavropol Territory visited StGAU to get acquainted with the possibilities of the federal project «Professionalism».

In 2022, Stavropol Agrarian University became one of the pilot sites for the project. Students of grades 8-11 were able to try their hand at working specialties and take a step towards professional self-determination. In the pilot year of the program, 789 students started their studies, and this year the enrollment exceeded 1300 people.

As part of a Single open Day for future applicants, guided tours of the StGAU laboratories were held. Schoolchildren and their parents attended professionally oriented classes in the laboratory of botany, plant physiology, technology of processing and reproduction of soil fertility.

The educational process according to the programs of «Professionalism» is built in close cooperation with enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, assumes an accelerated training period and a practice-oriented approach.
