A master class on stock trading on the FinameTrade platform was held at the Entrepreneurial Boiling Point as part of a series of training events «Investing wisely», organized by teachers of the Finance and Credit Department together with the Finam financial company.
Lyubov Dinaeva, Director of Finam-Stavropol LLC, gave the students recommendations on successful transactions on the stock market. Under the guidance of an expert, the participants worked on the trading platform. For two weeks, students have access to demo accounts, to which the broker deposits a virtual amount of 400 thousand rubles. This practice makes it possible: access to trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange, NYSE and NASDAQ; buy stocks, funds, currencies and other instruments; access to trading operations of professional traders.
The results of the bidding will be summarized, and the most successful novice stock market participants will be able to complete a summer internship at Finam-Stavropol LLC.
— Stock trading requires serious hard work. Sometimes market participants trade for 10, 12, or even 16 hours a day, because they are tied to the opening schedules of exchanges around the world. Conducting training sessions in this format ensures the development of students' skills in stock trading, investment decision—making, and a comprehensive study of the trading infrastructure,» said Olga Uglitskikh, Associate Professor at the Department of Finance and Credit.
