A complex of festive events dedicated to National Unity Day was held in Stavropol State Agrarian University. The Interethnic Council of the University acted as the organizer.
Representatives of more than ten national diasporas study at the university, including Dagestan, Turkmen, Karachay-Balkarian, Ossetian, Adyghe, Greek, Armenian, Abkhaz-Abaza, Nogai, Chechen-Ingush and Slavic. In addition, there are 333 international students from 47 countries, for whom Russia has become a second homeland.
The students presented the cultural heritage of their peoples — national costumes, musical and dance performances, customs and traditions. The honorary guests of the event were the Imam of Stavropol Rasul Izhaev and the rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Artemy, Archpriest Vladimir Ostrozhinsky.
