For the first time in their significant events, university veterans gathered for a festive celebration instead of the traditional places — the Winter Garden and the canteen of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering — in a new place, in a new dining room. No. 5. The veterans were pleased to welcome this pleasant location for the International Day of the Elderly, which is being celebrated for the twenty-third time in Russia.
Starting from the starting point of this celebration, the speech of the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the University, N.G. Guzynin, to his concluding words at the end of the event, the veterans had a pleasant time in a joyful and interesting atmosphere of a fast-flowing celebration. Igor Alekseevich Gritsenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans, Serikov Svyatoslav Sergeevich, Olga Vladimirovna Sycheva, Nina Stefanovna Chukhlebova, as well as Vladimir Ismailovich Kurchev, Viktor Grigorievich Bondarchuk, Tamara Petrovna Bayda, Nikolai Vasilyevich Belugin, vividly, meaningfully, emotionally and warmly congratulated everyone present on the holiday. The leitmotif of all the speeches were the words wishing peace, health, kindness, and well-being to all those present and their families and friends.
N.G. Guzynin proposed to remember with a minute of silence the recently deceased wonderful man and great scientist, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation Anatoly Fedorovich Dmitriev, who would have turned 87 on October 1, and in his person all the deceased veterans of our university, and wished all the living veterans of the university to preserve their bright image in the future. to his blessed memory.
The warm atmosphere of intimate conversations between veterans at the festive table was accompanied by a magnificent performance by the Folk Choir, which brought a touch of cheerfulness and optimism to the soul of everyone present. The veterans expressed their gratitude to the volunteer students representing all the institutes, led by Egor Smirnov, for their excellent service to the elderly at the festive table and to the staff of the new canteen for the delicious dishes.
In general, the festive celebration in a new place among the veterans present at it caused a joyful mood and left the most positive impression.
