The issues of practical training of students were discussed by teachers of the Faculty of Economics with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stavropol Territory.

Following the results of the internship by students of the profile «World Economy», teachers of the Department of Entrepreneurship and World Economy (Natalia Nikolaevna Telnova, Natalia Valeryevna Vorobyova, Yulia Viktorovna Orel) discussed problematic issues, as well as promising areas in the framework of practical training with Inna Nikolaevna Varnavskaya, Head of Business Education of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stavropol Territory.

During the meeting, a lot was said about the requirements for communication skills, for the competencies of the professional standard «Specialist in foreign economic activity» and «Economist of the enterprise», as well as teachers and a representative of the organization exchanged views and thought out the structure for the activities of the student-intern, taking into account the recommended individual assignment issued by the supervisor from the department. 

During the internship, students gain analytical skills, get acquainted with the requirements for conducting business negotiations, gain experience in organizational skills and knowledge on concluding a foreign trade contract, — commented Inna Nikolaevna Varnavskaya, Head of Business Education.
