At the Stavropol State Agrarian University, on the initiative of Rector Vladimir Sitnikov, a series of open classes will be held from October to November, which will be conducted by leading university teachers. The events are aimed at teachers with up to three years of experience.
The purpose of the cycle is to demonstrate effective teaching methods, modern educational technologies, and best classroom practices. The program includes 28 open lectures, practical and laboratory classes in various disciplines, which will allow young colleagues to get acquainted with a variety of pedagogical approaches and gain valuable experience for their own professional activities.
Igor Yuryevich Sklyarov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, spoke about the role of such events in the implementation of the personnel strategy and improving the quality of teaching.:
«Conducting a cycle of open classes is an essential element of the mentoring system at our university. For young teachers, this is a unique opportunity to learn invaluable experience from recognized masters of their craft, to see in practice the subtleties of constructing lectures and seminars, methods of audience engagement and group dynamics management. Such events directly contribute to the accelerated acquisition of key pedagogical competencies, which ultimately improves the quality of the entire educational process at Stavropol State University. We are confident that this project will be a significant step in the professional development of our young colleagues.»
The cycle of open classes will not only strengthen intra-university cooperation, but will also become a practical platform for the exchange of experience, contributing to the continuous professional development of the teaching staff of the university.
