Under the leadership of Professor Alexander Yesaulko of the Russian Academy of Sciences, scientists at the Institute of Agrobiology and Natural Resources are conducting research on the state assignment on the topic: «Monitoring the development of crops using invasive and remote research methods and taking operational measures to adjust nutrition and phytosanitary conditions.»

The researchers used empirical and theoretical experimental methods, which will result in the creation of a digital passport of the studied crops (winter wheat and corn) according to the phases of plant development and phytosanitary status, identifying patterns of their changes during the production process and the impact on the quality of the grain produced. The author's software was verified to adjust the mineral nutrition of winter wheat and corn based on the dynamics of agrochemical parameters of the soil and the chemical composition of plants according to the phases of vegetation of agricultural crops.; software for calculating the agrotechnical, economic and agroecological efficiency of crop production.

The research results obtained will make it possible to form concepts for the sustainable development of the agroecosystem, including reducing the use of agrochemicals, preserving soil fertility, and using resource conservation to provide the population with high-quality food.
