A round table «Strategy for the development of higher education» was held at the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute.

The event was initiated by the Ministry of Education of the Stavropol Territory. The central topic of discussion was the draft Strategy for the Development of Education in Russia until 2040. During the discussion, held in the format of a strategic session, the industry's challenges were discussed and solutions were proposed in such areas as the transformation of higher education and interaction with industrial partners, ensuring scientific, technological and industrial sovereignty in the context of the ongoing improvement of world science and technology, digitalization, ensuring seamless education, and fostering a harmoniously developed personality.

Igor Sklyarov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Olga Sevostyanova, Head of the Department of Innovative Educational Programs, Nelly Tunina, Head of the Department of Educational Process Organization, Olga Fedisko, Head of the Department of Education Quality, Andrey Pankratov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education, Anna Ivolga, Head of the Center for Advanced Professional Training, participated in the round table from Stavropol State Agrarian University.

— Participation in such events is primarily an exchange of experience between the professional community. It is within the framework of such open discussions that it is possible, based on the best practices available at our university and the examples and cases available at other universities, to develop the most appropriate vectors for the development of higher education. I am sure that the solutions that were generated today by a joint brainstorming session will be useful and will be reflected in our daily work,» said Olga Sevostyanova, Head of the Department of Innovative Educational Programs, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor.
