The Sirius Educational Center hosted the intensive youth project «Agriculture in the context of climate change» within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Ecology and Climate Change ICECC.

The students were engaged in the development of new approaches to the development of sustainable agriculture in the context of climate change. The team of the SSAU Student Scientific Society reached the finals with the project «Breeding new cranberry hybrids for plantation cultivation in checks».

The jury noted five of the most promising ideas, among them the work of the SSAU team. Eric Klinchaev, a student of the Institute of Mechanics and Energy, presented the developed project at a meeting with Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
