June 3, 2025 The RAEX Rating Agency (RAEX-Analytics) has published the results of the fourteenth annual ranking of the best universities in Russia, RAEX-100, which is one of the indicators of the quality of higher education in the country. The rating, which is part of the «Three University Missions» family, takes into account not only statistical data, but also the opinions of representatives of academic circles, students, graduates and employers.
In 2025, universities from 30 regions of Russia were included in the list of the best. Stavropol State Agrarian University has become the leader of the ranking among universities in the North Caucasus Federal District. In the overall standings, he strengthened his position, rising from 52nd to 47th position.
— The results of the rating indicate that graduates of SSAU are really in demand in the labor market. This became possible thanks to the support of federal and regional centers, well-established business relations, which is manifested both in educational programs and in the organization of scientific research, and partnerships with leading educational and scientific centers in the country. This is what allows the university to be at the forefront of scientific and educational initiatives, successfully implement educational policy and develop the industry,» commented Vladimir Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU.
It should be noted that due to participation in federal projects in Stavropol State Agrarian University, a material and technical base has been formed that allows for the educational process, research and development, and scientific and technical services in the interests of agricultural enterprises and related industries in accordance with current requirements at a high level. The university not only introduces new methods and technologies into the educational process, but also successfully participates in the Priority 2030 program, implements two strategic projects in the field of crop breeding, fruit and berry crop nursery, and breeding and genetics in animal husbandry.
