Stavropol State Agrarian University and Samarkand State University named after Sh. Rashidov organize a joint
International Conference «Innovative Sustainable Agricultural Systems».
A large-scale scientific event will be held simultaneously in Russia (Stavropol State Agrarian University, Stavropol) and Uzbekistan (Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Food Security of the Sharof Rashidov Samarkand State University, Samarkand) in the period from March 5 to 6, 2024.
Sustainable agriculture is the use of renewable and non—renewable resources for agricultural systems by minimizing
negative impact on the environment. The concept of sustainable agriculture focuses on three dimensions of sustainability, namely: the sustainability of economic enterprises (profit), the sustainability of human social life (people) and the sustainability of the natural environment (planet).
The international conference ISAS-2024 («Innovative sustainable agricultural systems», «Innovative sustainable agricultural Systems») aims to exchange experience in research on the balanced impact of these three dimensions on each other. Methods and tools will be presented at the conference
design, evaluation and monitoring of agricultural systems that should improve the environmental and economic performance of agriculture.
High-quality scientific articles in English describing original and previously unpublished results of work within the scope of the conference are accepted for participation in the conference. Registration of participants and acceptance of articles will last until January 20, 2024. The articles selected based on the results of the review will be sent for publication in a series of books published by Springer Nature, indexed in the Scopus database (Scopus) 4 quartiles.
The main areas of the conference will be agricultural waste management, aqua culture and farming systems, climate and climate change, sustainable rural development, food quality and safety, crop production, animal genetic resources, agricultural socio-economic systems, digitalization, automation and robotization of the agro-industrial complex, intelligent systems in agriculture, mechanization and electrification in agriculture, as well as soil fertility.
