Stavropol State Agrarian University and «AgroTerra» Group of Companies have signed an agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership within the framework of the All-Russian Scientific and Educational Forum «Promising Trends in Agricultural Education and Science». The document was signed by the rector of the university, Vladimir Sitnikov, and the general director of the company, Alexey Marenkov.

One of the key areas of cooperation will be conducting scientific research on the processing of leaves, stalks and ears of corn in order to obtain fertilizers and other useful products. Based on the conducted research, the university's researchers will develop a number of recommendations for the use of the fertilizers obtained in the fields of the enterprise. The agreement is also aimed at training qualified personnel and their further employment, supporting the development of the country's agro-industrial complex and promoting the systemic modernization of higher education.

«AgroTerra» Group is engaged in the cultivation, storage and sale of agricultural crops, is one of the top 20 largest owners of agricultural land in Russia: it manages more than 260 thousand hectares. The Group of Companies has a Breeding and Seed Production Center and a Technology Development Center, as well as its own seed plant.
