Students of the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education have prepared a business project «Space Bakery», which allowed them to take first place in the competition «Bread Challenge-2023»!
The competition was organized by the Association of Bakers and Confectioners «Southern Guild of Bakers, Confectioners, Hospitality Industry named after I.N. Lyakisheva» together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Stavropol Territory and the non-profit partnership «Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners». The participants presented projects on the introduction of baking technology and the opening of their own business. Experts assessed the compliance of the participants' business plans with the criteria and helped to choose the winner.
Students Ulyana Vasilyeva and Vitaly Charura, under the guidance of Oksana Sergeevna Gavrilova, Director of the SPO Institute, and teachers, have developed three types of bread for baby food using modern technologies and environmentally friendly raw materials.
As part of the big PROKHLEB festival, field classes were also held, including at CJSC Bakery No. 3. Stavropol. Anna Mikhailovna Blednykh, microbiologist of the plant, conducted a tour of the territory for students, told about the peculiarities of the preparation of bakery products, shelf life and the order of sale of products. Field training is an important component in the development of professional activity and obtaining practical knowledge. Getting to know the company from the inside will help the student to learn the basics of the future profession.
