As part of the full-time module of the Master's degree program «Project Management of Rural Development», researchers from the Institute of Agrarian Research of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) delivered a series of full-time lectures at the SSAU.
The main goal of the master's program is practice—oriented training of professionals in the field of management of the development of Stavropol territories who are able to use modern methods of analysis and make verified management decisions based on them). Among the students are 26 employees of municipalities of the Stavropol Territory.
Within the framework of the educational intensive, experts and staff of the HSE InAgIs, including Nadezhda Orlova, Head of the Department of Economics of Innovation in Agriculture, Renata Yanbykh, Head of the Department of Agrarian Policy, and Evgenia Serova, Director of Agrarian Policy, shared with the students of the SSAU international experience in rural development, told about change management and sustainable development of rural areas, and We also conducted a review of the world experience in supporting and developing rural areas using the example of the USA.
Also, within the framework of the visit of HSE representatives, the Director of Agricultural Policy of the HSE Evgenia Serova met with the Rector of the SSAU Vladimir Sitnikov and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Igor Sklyarov. During the meeting, positive results of cooperation in recent years were noted and further areas of cooperation were outlined.
