By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the honorary title «Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation» was awarded to Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Andrey Kvochko.

Andrey Nikolaevich has been the head of the Department of Physiology, Surgery and Obstetrics for 21 years, and his total work experience is more than 30 years. Today he is an expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, and an expert of Sberbank on the evaluation of scientific projects.

Andrey Kvochko's scientific activity is focused on such important areas as genetics, pathology and veterinary surgery, and functional morphology.
