As part of the strategy of advanced training of engineering personnel for the high-tech agro-industrial complex, the faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University completed an internship at the Pegas-Agro LLC enterprise in Samara. This is a key stage in the launch of joint educational and industrial cooperation between the university and the company.
The event, organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the university administration and Pegasus-Agro, was a practical step in the implementation of the roadmap for creating a new model of specialist training.
The internship was attended by key representatives of the university, including
I.Y. Sklyarov, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, as well as teachers L. I. Soboleva, G. G. Shmatko, L. I. Vysochkina and A.V. Zakharin.
During the internship, the teachers studied in detail the current production processes and innovative solutions used in modern agribusiness.:
• «Lean manufacturing and quality management system» — principles of increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
• «Product line and agrotechnological advantages» — an introduction to the company's equipment and technologies.
• «Intelligent systems: Pegasus Navigator» — the development of digital solutions for precision farming and agricultural machinery management.
• Features of operation and maintenance of equipment of Pegas-Agro LLC.
The accumulated practical experience will form the basis for the creation of a joint educational and production site. Its replication in the educational process will make it possible to form a new generation of specialists — «digital agroengineers» who are ready to work with advanced Russian technologies in the most modern production facilities.
«This project is an important step in the integration of education and the real economy. Direct acquaintance of teachers with the latest equipment and production systems ensures that our students will receive the most relevant knowledge and skills required by the high–tech agro-industrial complex,» said
V.N. Sitnikov, Rector of SSAU.
