Sochi hosted the finals of the European Powerlifting and Strength Sports Championship NAP Olimpia 12.

Nina Mukhortova, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, won two gold medals in the powerlifting. The athlete competed in the open category up to 67.5 kg, as well as in the age category of 55-59 years with a weight of 212.5 kg. As a result of the competition, she received two gold medals.
