New textbook "Fundamentals of microbiology, sanitation and hygiene in agricultural production"


A new textbook “Fundamentals of Microbiology, Sanitation and Hygiene in Agricultural Production” has been published. Its authors are V.I. Zairko, M.N. Verevkina, E.V. Svetlakova - on professional education. The textbook is recommended by the Federal UMO on agriculture, forestry and fisheries for training in the profession "Master of agricultural production."

The textbook examines the morphology and physiology of microorganisms, the influence of environmental factors on them, the role of microorganisms in the nature and life of animals, provides basic information about infection and immunity. Zoo-hygienic requirements for the soil, feed, premises, hygiene of water supply, maintenance, raising and transportation of animals are given. The concepts of veterinary, disinfection, deratization are disclosed. The frequently recorded diseases of cattle of infectious and non-infectious etiology are described in detail. The problems and principles of environmental protection from diseases common to humans and animals are indicated, and measures to fight these diseases are indicated.
