Responsible approach to the employment of graduates is a guarantee of reliability of the university


On October 10, 2018 at the Stavropol State Agrarian University was held a job fair for third and fourth year students from all faculties with the participation of more than 30 representatives of enterprises and organizations of the region, the dominant part of which are the strategic partners of the university.

The goal of the fair is to help future graduates from the SSAU with finding employment.

Potential employers conducted mini-presentations of their activities, told about available vacancies.

Several strategic partners of the university in their presentations mentioned the long-term relationship with the Stavropol State Agrarian University, shared the achievements of our graduates - now leading experts of these enterprises.

For students, such events are an excellent opportunity to navigate the labor market and communicate directly with potential employers.

Eldar Rezanov, a third-year student at the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering, shared his impressions of the event: “At the fair I could easily get acquainted with the activities of the enterprise I was interested in, the working conditions and social policy, and also ask questions. Representatives of employers kindly and openly introduced us to information about available vacancies and requirements for applicants, conditions and remuneration, offered information material and provided an opportunity to fill out employment questionnaires. We are very grateful to the organizers for such a useful event! ”.

Young farmers, engineers, economists and representatives of other specialties were offered not only vacancies for permanent work, but also for temporary or part-time employment, which can be combined with university studies, as well as for summer job placement and internships.

It was possible to talk with several companies - participants of the fair.

The representative of PJSC Sberbank, a strategic partner of the Stavropol State Agrarian University on a long-term basis, noted that the bank recruits students with both incomplete higher education and undergraduate graduates.

JSC "Monocrystal" - one of the organizations, closely interacting with the Agrarian University for many years. The representative of the company focused in his speech on the fact that many graduates of the SSAU are already working in the company and have achieved quite good results. Therefore, the Agrarian University is one of the main universities, on which "Monocrystal" focuses on the selection of future personnel.

JSC "Agricultural Bank" also cooperates with the Stavropol State Agrarian University for more than one year. Work experience is regularly held here, and later dozens of students remain to work. A vivid example was Victoria Arzamastseva, a graduate of the accounting and financial faculty. After undergoing an internship for two weeks, I was employed in a bank and during my work I was able to become a leading expert from an ordinary economist, proving that the prospect of rapid career growth is a reality.

Such trade shows are a real find for senior students. Without leaving the walls of the university, they could plunge into the labor market, find out all the relevant information in this area and leave their resumes for employment.
