On the eve of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a “Lesson of Courage” was held at the Faculty of Economics, a traditional patriotic event for the glory of the immortal heroic deed of Soviet heroes of those distant years.
All those present paid a minute of silence to the memory of people who gave their lives for peace in our land.

The director of the University’s scientific library, Marina Obnavlenskaya, addressed the audience with the report “The war does not have a woman’s face”. She talked about the difficult life and heroic deeds of women during the Great Patriotic War.
Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems, Candidate of Technical Sciences Alexander Troshkov demonstrated to the assembled front-line items of participants in combat battles: telephone set and surgical set in 1943, hospital headphones, medals and medals of a military doctor and others.
Congratulatory songs and poems were heard from the creative teams of the Economics Department. In addition, students prepared wall newspapers devoted to the Victory Day.
