Biography


Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin, Acting Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University
Valentin Sergeevich Skripkin was born on July 28, 1975 in the village of Nadezhda, Shpakovsky region, Stavropol Territory.
In 1992 he graduated from Secondary Comprehensive School No.3 in the village of Kugulta of the Grachevsky region and entered Stavropol Agricultural Institute, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
In 1997 he graduated with honours from the Stavropol State Agricultural Academy.
From 1997 to 1998 worked as a trainee researcher at the Department of Obstetrics of Stavropol State Agricultural Academy.
From 1998 to 2002, he did his postgraduate studies at the Department of Obstetrics.
From 2000 to 2001, he worked as a senior lab assistant at the Department of Obstetrics.
In 2002 Valentin Sergeevich was appointed Deputy Head of the Educational Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University.
In 2004 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of veterinary sciences and was promoted to senior lecturer of the Obstetrics Department.
Since 2005 Valentin Sergeyevich has been an associate professor of the Department of Obstetrics. One year later, until 2015, he was in charge of the Centre for the Management of the Educational Process.
Since July 2015 he headed the Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology Faculty
In February 2022, he was appointed Acting Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Married, a wonderful family man and father of two children.
